FESTIVAL SEASON
After 5 years of releasing singles and experimenting, SAINt JHN finally released FESTIVAL SEASON, his best album yet.
SAINt JHN throughout FESTIVAL SEASON shows his versatility by showing his range through many genres such as Rage, Pop, Punk, and Rap. Bringing you into this world that feels like a real festival experience.
“Never Met Superman” is a standalone song that opens the gates to the album and showcases SAINt JHN in the spotlight. It then transitions into “Body On Me,” one of the many rage anthems on the album. Others are “Poppin,” “Guyanese Moshpit,” “Stones!!!” and “4 The Gangsters.”
On “Whose Ex Wife Is This” he creates a new love anthem trying to gain the attention of someone is already in love, to then transition into “Glitching, the perfect love techno song of Spring/Summer. “Undecided” is a house style song that gets the same treatment as both songs, but gets a grander performance featuring the most catchy lyrics off of the album “Can I lay here tonight if, your feelings start to feel the same?”
But he does not forget to bring the melodic songs where he gets to express himself in “Hunting Nirvana” and “U Need Jesus” where he tries to fix his relationships to be righteous. “Fvck being SAD” ends up being one of those festival anthems where everyone can come together and sing away the things that bother them. On “Loneliness” he confronts himself and tries to right his wrongs.
SAINt JHN studied the game and took his time to create one of the best works of the year yet, highlighting his talent, and where he stands in the industry as an artist. No one can replicate what SAINt JHN did on FESTIVAL SEASON. The artist has already revealed that this album is “The first half of Collection II”, the first one being Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs and While The World Was Burning. The second half of Collection II Fake Tears From A Popstar will release once the FEStIVAL SEASON tour ends.
