This week’s album spotlight is featuring the newest album “Ur Fun” by the band of Montreal. Out of Athens, Georgia, of Montreal was named after a failed romance between the head man and his lover from Montreal who had an attitude/personality that was similar to Montreal itself. The band has been kicking it and producing music since 1996, you can easily find them on spotify to listen to some rad music.

If you’re looking for a good vibe to jam with friends, this is the album for you. With the upbeat and fun acoustics combined with the intriguing energy drawing you into the moment it really gets you groovin’ and movin’. The lyricals telling stories of heartbreak and angst mixed with the creative and skillful instrumentals create an auditory experience that one would describe as the feeling you get while speeding down a highway with some friends, the windows down, and wind whipping through your hair on a sunny afternoon.
