Good Luck Everybody - AJJ 2019

AJJ recently produced their newest album, “Good Luck Everybody”, that is an album full of heart wrenching and laugh provoking stories that discuss the overall connections between us all as humans living on this planet. The members describe their work in this album to be something similar to the same feeling you have while scrolling through a social media feed, when it shows you everything. You see and hear things you did not want to or did not expect to, much like life surrounding us. Their twangy beat, funny and bitter lyrics combine together to produce a profound album on the topic of life. Lead guitarist, Sean Bonnette describes the point of the album through saying “Basic human connection is the path to our collective return to sanity”, which is in my opinion a good point of view.

This band from Phoenix, Arizona formed in 2004 as a folk punk band by the name of “Andrew Jackson Jihad” and have been producing music discussing the themes that revolve around and create the society and environment we live in. Including the topics of social anxiety, poverty, humanity, religion, addiction, existentialism, and politics. You can find them on Spotify and listen to all of their complex albums circling the keys of life, much like this recent grand album. Enjoy!!
