VAMPIRE WEEKEND: CONTRA 2010

Vampire Weekend was an up and coming band at the beginning of the decade and are more well known now. Their album Contra was popular from its hits such as Holiday, Horchata and Cousins. It was up for album of the year during 2010, and the artist pay homage to some of Contra’s songs in their newer works. I think this album is really important because it was one of the first pop alternative group to break into the mainstream radio circuit.
