CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN: THE RIDE MAY 2016

Showing a different side of musical structure to us, Catfish and the Bottlemen are extremely straight forward in this album. They mention, in an interview, that so many other artists try so hard to go out of the box to come up with things that say one thing while meaning something different entirely. This album is the bands excellent attempt at showing listeners that it doesn't have to be that difficult. All of their words mean what they say, that simple. They describe it as keeping themselves inside of the box. They are all about the simplicities in life that we all do and love, straightforward and simple.
