Melanie uses this album as a physical representation of the growth she has had since her last album release "Cry Baby". Her album this past year has shown the stability she has grown as a person both mentally and physically. Cry Baby was an album discussing the fragility of her mental and emotional stability, where as the album "K-12" ,and film that goes with it, used to show how she is not as emotional or unstable as she once was. This growth is a huge success for a person, being able to be satisfied with your mental health and being healthy is a hard thing to grow into and her push through the society views to find that ultimate stability level.
