Yes, change is scary but it is also necessary for growth to happen. This album is a good representation of this opinion and feeling, their words are used to show us that all these changes are needed and yes you will make it through them although it does not feel like it. AJR tells stories about friends and lovers breaking up, disagreement with parents, and the overall change that happens to a person as they grow older and more capable. This album shows that growth and change go hand in hand, you need both to really make a difference that matters to you.
