Hobo Johnson continues his unique, almost slam poetry style delivery while continuing to make incredibly relatable music about life as a twenty something navigating the seas of love, mental illness, and discovering identity. His band the Lovemakers expand the musical palette as compared to previous Hobo Johnson works by throwing in some punk, rock, and alternative instrumentals throughout the record as well. Just another solid release from one of the most unique artists in recent memory.
