As midterms are coming to a close and workloads are (somewhat) decreasing, many of us are searching for an activity to give us a break from the craziness of school, work, and life in general. What better place to get that break than the Denver Museum of Nature & Science? First and foremost, it’s lively and entertaining -- with permanent exhibits ranging from Ancient Egyptian artifacts to Russian sculptures made entirely out of crystal, and incredible rotating exhibits (their current one focuses on Stonehenge!). You could spend an entire day exploring the huge three-story building. But the best part is, you don’t have to feel bad about taking a few hours to yourself. Although it’s enjoyable, it’s also a completely educational experience. DMNS appeals to all ages so it’s the perfect place to go with your friends, significant other, or family. Who said nature and science museums were just for kids?!

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is located in City Park. More information about the museum can be found on their website.
