Rapper Ramirez and singer- songwriter-producer Rocci released their album Tha Playa$ Manual. Their project was inspired by the music Ramirez grew up. He wanted production with Bay Area, San Francisco ‘90s gang culture influenced sound. Ramirez chose to work with Rocci because he understood the vision. For Ramirez this album was made in tribute to the artists he listened to growing up. The album flows and all together tells a story, featuring Pouya, Shakewell, and Night Lovell. One of the KRCX staff favorites is “Gold Thangs & Pinky Rangs” featuring Pouya and Shakewell. The song is chill upbeat rhythm, definitely a good one for late night drives. Another bop is “Glitter & Gold” it is a chill bright sound, you’ll want to add this one to your summertime playlist.
