Rico Nasty’s Nightmare Vacation is an electrifying blend of screamo-rap that will leave you ready to start a bar fight. Layering gritty chants and occasional dreamy melodies over dynamic, raucous beats, Rico releases a feeling of rage and dissatisfaction that has been all too relatable for us during the past year -- so relatable, in fact, that songs such as “OHFR?” and “P***y Poppin'' received vast recognition through creators on TikTok. Aside from her newer sound, Rico makes sure to call back to her roots, adding a remix of her hit “Smack a B***h” featuring rappers Sukihana, ppcocaine and Rubi Rose. Through her exploration of a more experimental, dreamier sound, Rico crafts a fever dream of edge and humor that most definitely works in her favor.
